How he went to climb MT Everset

He was in London work in a Master Thesis when he received an email asking for people who want to climb Everest, then changed all his priorities, agreed to participate in this adventure, and began workouts that lasted two years.

He was used ropes and hammers, bot with claws so he can instill his foot in the snow, in addition to more than a device for measuring wind speed, temperature and oxygen tubes and personal belongings.

Low temperature.

Alumni Of The Year -The American University in Cairo in 2008

Omar received a national awards from the Ministry of Youth in recognition for becoming the first Egyptian and youngest Arab to summit 8,850m Mount Everest in 2007

Omar received the Alumni Of The Year Award by the Business and Economics faculty of the American University In Cairo for his ascent of Mount Everest in 2007 and contribution to the school community
